Activity/Reflection

I invite you to open your journal and do the following exercises to make sure the information is embodied.

The "Dream Job" Paradox: Think about your career. Did you choose it because it genuinely excited you, or because it promised stability, status, or parental approval? If you won the lottery tomorrow and didn't have to work, what would you spend your time doing?

Relationship Rules: Consider your relationships. Are you pursuing certain types of relationships (e.g., marriage, specific family dynamics) because it's what's "expected" or because it genuinely fulfills your emotional needs?

Think: Do you ever find yourself saying things like, "Well, everyone else is doing it," even if it doesn't feel quite right for you?

The "Energy Drain" Audit: Think about your typical week. What activities genuinely energize you? What consistently drains you, even if they're things you "should" be doing? Often, the drainers are tied to obligations or expectations that don't align with your core self.

If your soul had a "low battery" indicator, how often would it be blinking red after a day of doing all the things you "should" do?

The Fake Smile Check: How often do you find yourself putting on a brave face, nodding along, or forcing a smile when you actually feel exhausted, frustrated, or bored? That's the mask we wear to fit in, but it can suffocate your true feelings over time.
